Who Am I
My name is Emily. I am a wife, mother, insurance girly, and lover of dark purple nail polish.
For close to a decade, alcohol controlled my life. No one guesses that the "perfect" Cinco Ranch mom, employee, and church greeter was battling Alcohol Use Disorder.
Getting Help
When I finally decided that I was not going to let this chronic disease control my life, I could not find help in my neighborhood.
I forged a path for myself by reading books, listening to podcasts, hitting the gym, and reading the Bible cover to cover.
The love of Jesus saved me. And, I have come to believe He gave me grace to help take down the stigma surrounding addiction.
